Case study · Corvane Technology Group Name changed for privacy reasons
From position 87 to 3 for managed IT services in seven months
Corvane Technology Group is an established managed IT provider with more than one office, and its website hid that from search. We gave every service and office its own page, set up a Google Business Profile for each office and published articles written with its engineers. Its average Google position across priority searches went from 87 to 3 in seven months.

The challenge
Corvane had the experience and service range buyers look for, but its website did not show it. Every service sat on one long page, and its location pages repeated the same text with a different city name.
Google had no page worth ranking for "managed IT services" in any of the firm's markets. Across its priority searches, Corvane's average position was 87, on page nine, where few buyers ever look.
Its Google Business Profiles were half finished, with missing services, old photos and reviews without replies. Buyers comparing providers in each city saw competitors with complete profiles first, and Corvane's offices rarely showed in the map results.
What we did
Search demand map
We listed the searches buyers make in each market, by service, by location and by problem, and gave each search one page to rank for it.
Technical groundwork
Duplicate office pages merged, page titles rewritten and slow pages fixed before any new page went live, so Google could crawl the whole site.
Service and location pages
A page for every service, written with Corvane's engineers, and a page for each office with its team, the area it covers and the local details buyers check.
Internal links
Every service linked from the office pages and articles that mention it, so a buyer reaches the right page in two clicks and Google sees how the site fits together.
Google Business Profiles and reviews
Each office's profile completed with services, photos and posts, plus a review request after every finished project and a reply to every review.
Authority
Monthly articles from interviews with Corvane's technicians, and listings and mentions on the IT directories and local business sites buyers trust.

Corvane moved from page nine to the top 3 for its priority searches in seven months. The first two months went into the technical fixes and the new pages, and most of the climb came in months three to six, once Google had indexed the service and office pages. Every priority search now ranks on page one, and the core service searches sit between positions 1 and 3.
